About

“A girl with her eyes set on the stars and her feet firm on the ground” is how I would like to describe myself. A firm believer in a saying by Winnie The Pooh ~ Life is a journey to be experienced, not a problem to be solved.

Call me naive or an idealist, I find happiness in the smallest of things – morning sunshine, seeing a plant grow, flowers bloom, rain, reading a good book, watching my favorite show on TV, conversations with family and friends, helping someone out, learning something new (even a language), reading an article, cooking…you get the idea. That being said, I would like to reach out to as many people as I can through this blog in the hope that my words can inspire, motivate, comfort, give you the strength, make you smile or even give you a hearty laugh, provide some food for thought, help you accept and love yourself – in short, I hope you find a friend in me πŸ™‚

Apart from writing, I can lose myself in the world of books. I am glad I was introduced to reading at a young age by my parents. Agatha Christie, Sydney Sheldon, Jeffrey Archer, Ernest Hemingway, Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, Paulo Coelho are some of the authors I have read and enjoy reading their work. I know there are a lot of authors/ novels to be explored (I wouldn’t mind the suggestions). I do have a couple of ideas and would love to be an author one day though I haven’t been able to work on it much, more so because I am always worried how it will turn out. But I guess now I worry less and get onto it.

Happy Blogging! πŸ™‚

  1. What are your favorite types of books? Mysteries, adventures, science fiction, romances, if you already have a favorite type of book maybe people would be better able to give you suggestions. I have been reading since I was 3 years old, so have a few years experience under my belt.

Let me know what type you prefer to read and then I’ll help you discover new authors! A budding author can never be too well read.

      1. Basic adventure, try Mark Twain. With Romance I tend to read romances with a sci-fi twist or vampires. There are many good western themed romances out there. They just bore me. Because my mind gets too wrapped up in the descriptions of the horses!
